Job Description Our client who is located in Colonial Beach, VA; is looking to fill multiple full-time permanent High School Math and English Teacher vacancies for school year 20/21.

Responsibilities and Duties Commit to ongoing professional development in the spirit of continuous improvement Develop appropriate lesson plans, assignments, and assessments in conjunction with the VA Common Core State Standards Work closely with school leaders to analyze student assessment data to measure progress and use data to inform instruction Collaborate in grade level teams to discuss student work, share best practices, plan events for joy and humor, and ensure student mastery of standards Engage families in their children's education by building relationships and maintaining regular communication Qualifications and Skills Certified Teacher (any state) Determination to drive student achievement and set high expectations for all students Demonstrated expertise in High School Math or English Salary/Benefits Based on the district's 2020/2021 Salary schedule.
